Some specific responsibilities might include:

  • Developing and maintaining project plans, including project scope, goals, deliverables, resources, and timelines

  • Identifying and handling dependencies and risks associated with projects

  • Coordinating resources and tasks across multiple teams and disciplines

  • Collaborating with developers and operations teams to understand and address technical challenges

  • Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the appropriate level of quality

  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress to stakeholders

  • Improving processes and tools to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the development and operations teams.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical background, excellent communication and organization skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with agile software development methodologies, as well as familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, is also beneficial.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
