Job Title: Electrical Engineer Technician

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair equipment associated with the facility and production by ensuring proper machinery, electrical, and mechanical equipment operation.

• Maintain/troubleshoot electrical and automated controls using schematics and electrical drawings associated with manufacturing and systems.

• Provide technical support for facility electrical requirements.

• Troubleshoot electrical control systems motors and controls.

• Troubleshoot VFDs and servo motor controls.

• Improve manufacturing processes and preventative maintenance schedule including routine repairs and calibration to minimize equipment downtime.

• Oversee implementation and administration of NFPA70E.

• Cost control relating to electrical maintenance.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations,

• Maintenance, Vendors and Contractors.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years’ experience with electro-mechanical maintenance

• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience

• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, 3-phase motors, and AC/DC drives

• Experience working with electrical systems up to 480 volts

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
