Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Inventory Clerk in the Manufacturing industry located in YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio, 44515-2027, United States. This role is crucial in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management system and will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operations within our facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing inventory to ensure accuracy and quality

• Perform regular inspections of inventory storage areas and workspaces for organization, cleanliness, and safety

• Use measuring tools and equipment to assess the condition and quantity of items in inventory

• Enter inventory data into our ERP system accurately and promptly, ensuring all records are up-to-date and reliable

• Take on supervisory duties as needed, coordinating with other team members to ensure efficient workflow

• Engage in clerical duties, such as filing and answering inbound calls, to support the overall organization of the inventory department

• Conduct audits of inventory records and physical counts to identify and resolve discrepancies

• Create charts and graphs to visually represent inventory levels and changes over time

• Use the About Time software for efficient time tracking and management.

Requirements

• Auditing skills are essential

• Must be able to create and interpret Charts - Graphs

• Experience in Clerical Duties within a manufacturing environment is required
