Job Title: Tool and Die Maker

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled tool and die maker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for new builds, maintenance, and repair of tools and dies used within our high-speed, progressive die metal stamping process. Duties include laying out work assignments, computing dimensions, operating machine tools, fitting and assembling component parts, setting dies in press and trial runs, analyzing and correcting complex tools malfunctioning, recommending changes in tooling design, and providing instruction and training to apprentices and trainees. This position also requires adherence to safety practices and compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Work Environment

You'll be working in a clean, climate-controlled environment. The toolroom has manual machines, a wire EDM machine, and various tools. The shop is a metal stamping environment which is also clean and climate-controlled. The noise level can be high due to the stamping presses. Dress code requires clean jeans or work pants, composite safety shoes, safety glasses, and ear protection. Shifts available are 1st (Mon-Fri 7am-3pm), 2nd (Mon-Fri 3pm-11pm), and 3rd (Sun-Thu 11pm-7am)
