Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description.

SHIFTS;

2nd and 3rd shift training on first shift for 4-6 weeks!

Responsibilities

• Operate digital controlled respooling machinery and auxiliary equipment to produce quality products meeting customer expectations and production goals.

• Load raw material, feed wire through the machine, and remove finished product.

• Change machinery settings from one product or package to another.

• Perform quality welds using appropriate butt welder for type and size of wire.

• Conduct preventative maintenance on all production and support equipment as assigned.

• Maintain accurate production and quality records.

• Understand product quality, delivery, and scrap measurements.

• Operate machinery efficiently and safely, adhering to all safety procedures and policies while wearing assigned PPE.

• Keep the work area clean and organized for the next operator.

• Take and pass OSHA approved Forklift Training; operating a forklift is an essential part of the daily tasks.

• Adjust equipment for the most efficient operation under guidance from management and production supervisors.

• Work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with changing priorities.

• Participate in training, employee meetings, committees, project teams, etc., as appropriate.

Work Environment

The work environment consists of a smaller shop with roughly 12-15 employees on the 1st shift and about 3-4 employees on the 2nd shift, including maintenance staff. The shop is highly organized with a strong emphasis on a clean and safe work environment. Safety-toed shoes and ear protection are required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in York,PA.
