Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is currently seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to join our team as an Engineer II, Field Service. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by providing exceptional customer support through on-site installation, problem-solving, and maintenance of complex equipment and systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing on-site installation of liquid chromatography-mass spectrometers (LC-MS) and other complex equipment and systems

• Conducting scheduled maintenance visits and offering assistance for any issues that may arise

• Collaborating with other team members to ensure flawless customer support

• Creating and submitting work reports, as well as updating service process documentation

• Identifying and reporting specific problems with business processes

• Providing user training on system maintenance and feedback to global product quality teams

To excel in this role, applicants should ideally possess a degree in chemistry, electricity, mechanics, or a related field. However, equivalent experience in these areas will also be considered. Additionally, proficiency in Word and Excel is necessary, along with holding an ordinary car license.
