Position Summary

CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Sr. Manager, Digital Engineering to plan, direct, and coordinate development activities for digital software applications and platforms. Duties include: manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope, and assign responsibilities to project personnel; direct daily operations of engineers analyzing user needs and developing software solutions to meet business requirements; review project plans to determine feasibility of solutions design and establish team priorities, standards, and deadlines; communicate with key stakeholders to determine project requirements, identify and resolve problems, and coordinate project activity; oversee teams upgrading existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices; and mentor junior team members. Telecommuting available. Multiple positions. - Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires three (3) years of experience in each of the following: Software development for enterprise or web applications; CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps; Java, Python, or Node.js; Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; ATG Commerce or Spring Boot microservices; Frameworks: Angular, JavaScript, React, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, or Backbone; Cloud technologies: Azure, AWS, or GCP; Typescript or objected-oriented JavaScript; Adobe Experience Manager (AEM); Traditional relational data warehouse technologies: Oracle, Teradata, or DB2; Infrastructure components: GPU’s or CPU’s; Splunk, DynaTrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or Prometheus; Junit or Selenium; Leading a team of engineers engaged in product and applications development; and Overseeing the systems development life cycle for product implementation.

Pay Range: $160,000.00/year to $230,000.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
