Supervise the generation of accurate and timely weekly payroll processing for hourly personnel and semimonthly payroll processing for salary for several business unit/plant locations, plus division.

Essential Functions:

• Comply with corporate Oracle and ADP systems with authorized pay rates, from personnel change notices (PCN\'s), for both hourly and salary personnel.
• Administer proper accounting for federal, state, and local tax regulations for both employer and employee taxes.
• Prepare expense calculations for all fringe benefit costs covering eligible employees.
• Assist the Accounting Manager, Controller and/or Director of Finance as required.
• Participate in payroll functional excellence teams to help streamline efficiency of payroll functions.
• Lead role in assisting with payroll requests for internal & external audits.
• Supervise direct reports of payroll specialist(s).
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Training:

Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or business. Working on certification as a Certified Payroll Administrator (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) designation if not already achieved.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Five years minimum experience processing hourly and salary payrolls in a multi-plant environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and deal with difficult situations and/or people in a productive manner.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent sitting and working at computer for extended periods of time.

Environmental Conditions:

• Office setting.
• Minimal exposure to R&D lab and manufacturing setting.
