Responsibilities

  • Respond to accidents, break-downs, and other roadside incidents

  • Transportation to a nearby garage

  • Stay in contact with motorists when you are en route

  • Perform basic repairs or tow their vehicle to a garage

  • Safely load cars onto the back of your truck

  • Keep your truck clean and in good condition

  • Remove illegally parked vehicles

Qualifications

  • A license to drive a motor vehicle

  • A compliant motor vehicle record

  • Ability to pass a medical certification to drive a tow vehicle

  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and randomly

  • Minimum of 1 year roadside assistance or experience loading and unloading a flatbed truck

  • Ability to record daily trip on a DOT Log Book and conduct a daily pre-trip inspection

  • Strong communication, time management skills and basic mechanical skills

  • Attention to detail when documenting work

  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs
