Robert Half Product Support Specialist in Woodbridge, New Jersey

Description We are looking for a Product Support Specialist to join our team in Woodbridge, New Jersey. This role involves providing help desk support for customers, testing 3rd party devices for compatibility with our products, and handling customer inquiries and escalations. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide help desk support for customers, ensuring positive experiences to build loyalty to our brands.

• Research and test 3rd party devices for compatibility with our products.

• Support customers and internal staff on connectivity devices and 3rd party devices.

• Handle customer and consumer calls and emails professionally, ensuring appropriate responsiveness to customer requests and issues.

• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues, and announce system outages.

• Perform basic system administration and provide in-depth assistance on supported software applications.

• Input all calls into call tracking software and manage incident escalations and crisis calls.

• Collect and relay software information, technical problems, and suggestions for improvement to appropriate department managers.

• Liaise with other departments to keep abreast of software development, support materials, and new enhancements of help desk operations. Requirements • Proven experience in a Product Support Specialist role or similar

• Exceptional customer service and customer support skills

• Familiarity with application support and troubleshooting

• Prior experience in a call center customer service environment

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency in using various software and applications relevant to the role

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
