Currently looking for an Survey Crew Chief to join their team out of Winston Salem or Greensboro, NC

Experienced Surveyors will have experience utilizing Survey Pro as their Data Collection software. Will need individual to have experience with 1 of the following (Static, Base/Rover, RTK style of GPS surveying). They're using EPOCH 50 GN22 receivers with data collectors.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate Survey Equipment and Instruments in support of company’s engineering practices

• Conduct land records research to obtain maps, plats, deeds and all necessary documents for field surveys

• Process survey data and prepare base drawings as needed

• Manage assigned project tasks, including work progress and effect on overall project schedules and budgets. This will require working with different departments, contractors and clients

• Develop and maintain complete records of survey party work performed, including time and expenses incurred

• Review specifications and prepare the best method for completing the field work in an efficient manner

• Operate independently in the field to accomplish survey and staking functions

• Effectively interface with clients, contractors and property owners

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED

• Prior experience as a Surveyor

• Experience in Boundary, Property and Topographic Surveying as well as Construction Staking

• Experience with COGO and other survey/stakeout software

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with AutoCAD

• Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

• Extensive travel outside of Wake County

• Valid NC driver’s license and clean driving record

Experience Level:

Intermediate - Expert Level
