Job Title: Structures Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Structures Technician with a strong background in aircraft sheet metal work. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in performing structural work on military fixed wing, corporate aircraft, or CRJs. While an A&P license is preferred, it is not required. The role involves performing repairs and fabrications on corporate aircraft, including detailed rebuilds and structural modifications, in collaboration with avionics technicians. Candidates must have completed sheet metal/composite SC tech school or possess equivalent experience and be proficient in blueprint reading.
Responsibilities
Remove and install aircraft components, landing gear doors, access panels, and fairings related to structure repair/modification.
Document work performed per appropriate manuals.
Perform component repairs in accordance with Repair Station Certificate requirements.
Fabricate aircraft parts and ground support equipment per engineering drawings and specifications.
Fabricate and install structural modifications on aircraft.
Assist in conducting hidden damage inspections.
Apply cleaning solvent and proper sealing compound according to maintenance and structural repair manuals.
Comply with all environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
Inspect parts, including warranty inspections, for warranty consideration as required.
Essential Skills
2+ years experience performing structures work on military fixed wing, corporate aircraft, or CRJs.
Sheet metal/composite SC tech school or equivalent experience.
Ability to repair and fabricate sheet metal parts.
Proficiency in blueprint reading.
Basic set of hand tools.
Knowledge of reading and interpreting aircraft blueprints, drawings, diagrams, and manuals.
Working knowledge of aircraft systems and manuals necessary to perform job functions.
Knowledge of maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, and applicable FAA documents.
Skill in troubleshooting and repairing aircraft deficiencies and performing complex structural repairs.
Ability to proficiently operate basic sheet metal support equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
A&P license preferred but not required.
Experience in performing work on corporate, commercial, or military aircraft.
Willingness to work overtime if available.

Work Environment
You will be working in an indoor, clean, corporate business jet repair facility with two hangars, one for Challengers and the other for Globals and Lears. Professionalism, cleanliness, and safety are crucial as customers are often present with their aircraft. You will work in teams of 8-10 mechanics under one lead, with approximately 10-12 leads reporting to a Project Manager.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
