Description What you will do: Supervisor of Quality Control will provide oversight to all phases of aircraft inspection and perform first line resolution between production and inspection. The Supervisor will be responsible for; receiving inspections, component repairs return to service and heavy maintenance RII. Position will also perform primary inspection and buy backs of non-routines and provide oversight for non-destructive testing. Additionally, the Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day management of quality inspectors and their functions. The Supervisor will also work directly with customers to ensure regulatory requirements are met. Periodically operational needs will require the Supervisor to be flexible in adjusting their work schedule. What you need: Airframe and Powerplant License 8 years working experience in all phases of maintenance of large transport category aircraft 5 years aircraft inspector experience 2 years RII and AWR authorization experience Working knowledge of engineering, quality control, maintenance planning/production control, repair services and material operations Working knowledge of NDT equipment Working knowledge of CFR 121 and 145 Preferred Skills: Bachelor's Degree Non-destructive Testing inspection experience/qualifications 3 Years Supervisory/Management Experience 2 Years Third party repair station operations 2 Years Project management experience Contract administration experience Physical Requirements: Work using a computer for extended periods of time Occasion lifting of various weights Able to sit/stand for long periods of time Wear PPE as required Qualifications Behaviors Loyal - Shows firm and constant support to a cause Leader - Inspires teammates to follow them Dedicated - Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity Motivations Self-Starter - Inspired to perform without outside help Ability to Make an Impact - Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organization Education High School (required) Licenses & Certifications Aircraft maint duties (preferred) Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
