Insight Global Implementation Engineer in Wilmington, North Carolina

Job Description

Our client is looking for an Implementation Engineer who will be responsible all aspects of on-site or remote technical implementations of the companies software solutions and troubleshooting data validation errors.

* On-site or remote partnership and liaison with Client's technical development and IT resources to complete and validate the required data extracts from Client's Core Banking system.

* Provide subject matter expertise to Client's technical staff related to Velocity Solutions' product data interface requirements and specifications.

* Understanding of web-based application setup and SQL server configuration.

* Consult on hardware and operation system requirements and configuration for on-site or hosted implementations.

* Maintain and update (as required) all technology checklists, manuals/guides, and Client configuration settings. Will partner with other Velocity technical staff to ensure accuracy of the technology documentation and Client configuration records.

* Provides data analysis on client's installed systems, as part of the product installation and configuration.

* Diagnose and resolve complex application software problems and their related interfaces.

* Walk Clients through file specifications to ensure the data provided meets specific requirements and is accurate.

* Coordinates and facilitates meetings with Clients during and post-product implementations.

* Makes recommendations to improve and support business activities.

* Works with third-party, outside consultants and experts, to accomplish specific projects and tasks related to product implementations.

* Provides input into developing and modifying systems to meet Client and company needs.

* May require working non-traditional business hours while traveling and performing on-site implementation duties.

Skills and Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of general technical experience; with ANSI SQL and Web-based Applications

- Proficiency in reading, writing, and troubleshooting SQL statements, joining tables together, and aggregating data.

- Exceptional project and time management skills to oversee multiple implementations simultaneously.

- Experience/knowledge working with Business Analytics/Business Intelligent-type reporting systems (AS/400 is desirable.)

- Experience implementing complex software products in a Client's IT environment

- Experience working with business processes and re-engineering.

- Experience working and partnering with information technology with functional groups within an organization.

- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

- Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Systems, or equivalent in-kind work experience. -Experience interfacing software products with Core Banking systems

  • MSSQL Server, Oracle database and PL/SQL experience

  • Experience working with a project management tool is a plus. null
