JOB TITLE: Software Engineer II

LOCATION: 301 W 11th Street, Wilmington, DE 19801

DUTIES: Contribute to a team within the Institutional Client Services (ICS) department, responsible for building a digital platform for other teams in the organization to build and expose websites and APIs; design, develop, deploy, maintain, and document software applications in an Agile development environment, using C#, REST, HTTP, MVC, SQL, and Angular; collaborate with stakeholders to understand software product requirements; design and build new and improved systems to ensure service security, incorporating emerging API security standards; perform code reviews, pair programming, and participate in knowledge exchange and transfer of pointers, tips, and tricks; perform testing, infrastructure maintenance, and deployment processes; act as primary point of contact for all production inquiries and issues that arise, on a rotating basis; participate in designing and architecting software features; and attend and contribute to daily Agile ceremonies including standups, backlog refinement, Sprint planning, and retrospectives.

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and four (4) years of experience developing software applications in an Agile development environment, using C#, REST, HTTP, MVC, and SQL; of which two (2) years include using Angular. Full-time.
