We are seeking Machinist with CNC experience to fill the roles of a growing, family-owned, reputable company located in Wichita, KS. Positions are direct-hire.

salary: $41,600 - $52,000 per year

shift: Second

work hours: 2:30 PM - 12:30 AM

education: High School

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain 5-axis CNC machines to manufacture precision parts.

• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CATIA files.

• Set up CNC machines, including selecting and loading appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials.

• Program CNC machines using G-code and CATIA software to ensure optimal efficiency and precision.

• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality standards are met.

• Conduct first article inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments.

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.

• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize machining processes and improve product quality.

• Document production activities, including setup sheets, tool usage, and maintenance logs.

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 10 hours at one time

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
