Job Description
The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical and administrative oversight to assigned clinical staff who provide behavioral health services with a focus on evidence-based practice (EBPs). Behavioral health services delivered will support the permanency, safety, and well-being for children and youth involved in the child welfare contract. This position will champion the use of the programs identified EBPs while maintaining a partial caseload. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for quality client care by ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations and standards.
Requirements
Minimum Education:
- Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Addictions Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or Counseling from an accredited college or university.
- Clinical Certification; LSCSW, LCMFT, LCPC. LCP
- Licensed to practice in the State of Kansas
Minimum Experience & Requirements:
- Must have experience in family-based services either through educational or work experience.
- Three years experience in clinical setting.
- Clinical management/supervision experience.

Essential Functions:
- Provides individual supervision/coaching to assigned clinical staff
- Provides team supervision to staff to review cases and provide feedback on intervention and caseconceptualization
- Champions the use of PMTO and other approved evidence based practices
- Ensures staff are working through their PMTO training and certification
- Willingness to become trained and certified in PMTO and other approved EBPs
- Maintains a partial caseload and completes specialized assessments
- Coordinates client care with other service providers, schools, case management teams, foster care staff, and adoption staff
- Assists assigned staff with meeting caseload and billable hours requirements
- Ensures quality documentation, reports, and billing is completed for services provided
- Conducts and reviews annual performance evaluations of staff
- Assesses and ensures staff competencies
- Provides clinical training and mentoring as requested by Clinical Director
- Provides clinical support to Saint Francis Ministries Reintegration Foster Care and Adoption on-call system
- Travels to provide in person supervision to assigned staff within their home office setting
- Provides coverage when staff are unavailable
- Reports Unusual Incidents and/or Critical Incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels
- Follows and adheres to all pertinent Saint Francis Ministries Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), rules, personnel policies and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state and local rules, statutes, regulations, and contractual terms
- Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures.
