Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

Join our team as a CNC Machinist, where you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes, focusing primarily on lathes. You will work on new machines including Mills and Lathes from brands like Doosan and Haas, and perform quality inspections using micrometers and calipers. This role involves handling a variety of parts and low-volume production, requiring multiple setups and tooling changes. Additionally, you'll need to edit programs as necessary at the machine.

Hard Skills

• 5 years of experience in setting up and running CNC mills and lathes

• Experience with Fanuc controls

• Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers

• Ability to edit CNC programs

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently

• Adaptability to flexible work hours including mandatory weekends

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in WHITEWATER, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

Our facility features a clean shop environment with approximately 100 people on the shop floor. The 1st shift runs from 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, with recent extensions to 5:30 am - 3:00 pm and includes a couple of mandatory weekends a month. The 2nd shift operates from 3:00 pm - 1:00 am, Monday to Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays. The pay range for this position is $23 - $29.88 per hour.
