Chubb Sr Software Engineer, Integration Engineering in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are searching for an experienced Duck Creek Integration Engineer to join our Benchmarq team. In this role, you will work closely with multiple departments to guarantee the success and efficiency of projects that support our Lower Middle Market Benchmarq package insurance.
The Integration Engineer is accountable for creating workflow and system specifications and managing project tasks to provide IT solutions that assist applications, following Agile program methodology. They will have the ability to serve as a mediator between the business and technical teams, as well as guide and assist both internal and external users throughout the lifespan of the application.
In this role, you will:
Develop business and technical requirement documents, including technical specifications (such as Swagger documentation for APIs)
Support quality assurance and user acceptance testing processes
Implement new processes through system modifications and workflow changes, including automation and regulatory compliance
Collaborate with internal application owners for API integration, UAT testing, and production release.
Provide post-production release support
Work with business teams to prioritize stories and defects, and ensure developers understand and properly implement specifications
Debug defects through log analysis and database queries
Track issues through JIRA and maintain regular updates on sprint progress
