JOB DESCRIPTION

The AVP, Claims Data Solutions will have a crucial role in the development of the innovative Global Data Platform (GDP) and in harnessing its potential to integrate actionable intelligence across various use cases.

Primary Responsibilities:
Bring a distinct data consumer prospective to ensure that business intelligence, operational metrics, modeling, analytics, and reporting requirements are effectively fulfilled. This encompasses a comprehensive understanding of how claims data flow into, within, and outside claims systems, along with the intended use, dependencies, and impacts as well as a strong understanding of business processes and their associations with source system and/or vendor data.
Identify and propose essential data elements necessary to support the company's business intelligence, operational metrics, modeling, analytics, and reporting requirements.
Ensure that the essential data elements needed for business intelligence, operational metrics, modeling, analytics, and reporting purposes are captured with precision, completeness, consistency.
Plan and coordinate the integration of vendor data into GDP to align with the business intelligence and analytics objectives.
Define and develop use cases based on business priorities and anticipated impact. Document business requirements and clearly articulate the business benefits.
Apply analytical techniques to analyze and interpret intricate data sets, extracting meaningful insights that can support informed decision-making processes.
Manage 1-2 direct reports
Secondary Responsibilities:
Support data solutions for existing data assets and applications as and when required. This includes ensuring the smooth functioning and optimization of data assets and applications, troubleshooting issues, and implementing necessary enhancements or improvements to meet evolving business needs.
Strategize and develop a roadmap for the decommissioning of existing data assets and smooth transition to leveraging new data sets.
