DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a supervisor, you will oversee and lead operations in state-owned Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores. This will involve various sales tasks such as receiving shipments, restocking products, and delivering exceptional customer service in a well-maintained and secure store environment. You will also be responsible for assigning and monitoring the work of Liquor Store employees, ensuring they adhere to policies and procedures. Furthermore, you will provide support to General Managers who oversee the overall store operation, including sales, maintenance, accounting, record-keeping, and other related functions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours vary between 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Sunday - Saturday Salary:The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1A; or

Two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 2; or Two years of lead retail sales work. Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement. Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation.  An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.  Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
