SCL Health Call Center Specialist Clinic in Wheat Ridge, Colorado

Job Description:

As a Clinic Call Center Specialist you need to know how to Answer, direct, and prioritize telephone calls and messages to correct clinic or department Triage calls according to priority and urgency, transferring calls as necessary Document all conversations, demographics to Electronic Medical Record timely and accurately Obtain complete and accurate clinical, demographic and financial information during the scheduling process Follow guidelines for special requests/Stat/schedule modification procedures and coordinate communications with clinical areas to accommodate the customers requests.

Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent, required At least one (1) year experience in a medical field, preferred At least one (1) year experience in a call center or high volume call position, preferred Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, preferred

Physical Requirements: Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing. Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands. See and read computer monitors and documents. Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment. May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching.
