Overview and Essential Functions

Looking for an opportunity to make a difference? Then you may have found your next career move. We’re looking for a Drill Crew Foreman to join our team. Under general supervision, this position performs tasks associated with the construction/upgrade of cable television or telephone systems.

What you’ll do…

  • Responsible as a crew leader; proper, accurate and timely submission of Production Reports

  • Oversees construction crew assignments

  • Ability to pull cable lines and other equipment used in the installation of telephone or cable TV wires

  • Ability to use ground rod pounding equipment

  • Direct traffic flow in accordance with local and state DOT guidelines

  • Assists Supervisor with day to day activities

  • Reads and implements design prints and other related instructions pertaining to the job

  • Maintains and operates vehicle safely following all safety and traffic regulations

  • Maintains proper inventory on vehicle based on work assignment

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license; CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred

  • Must have an understanding of basic and advanced construction principles

  • Capable of operating equipment necessary to complete jobs, i.e. missile, drill, backhoe, and trencher

  • Knowledge of “safety systems” associated with trenching and/or drilling including set-up and emergency procedures
