Aston Carter Sales Support Associate in Westchester, Illinois

Job Title: Inside Sales Specialist

No sales in this position. A support role

This role requires a high level of coordination and communication with various departments such as Accounting, Data Entry, Customer Service, Tech, Engineering, and Sales to ensure smooth operations. The associate will be the primary point of contact for issues relating to orders, inventory, shipment, and invoicing. The role entails managing leads in SalesForce, conducting customer follow-ups, serving as a customer liaison, and accurately managing order confirmations, invoices, and credit notes. The role also requires the associate to assist sales employees by providing necessary marketing materials and managing requests related to customer data. This role is project-based and involves heavy order entry and data entry tasks.

Essential Skills

  • Inside Sales, Sales Support, or Account management experience

  • Proficiency in SAP

  • Order entry experience

  • Experience with office suites (Excel, Outlook, Word)

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to work in a team

  • Detail-oriented

  • Proactive and self-motivated

Working Environment

The role is based in a large corporate building with tall glass cubicles. The environment is quiet and professional. The working hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Opportunity to get one work from home day after training and depending on performance.
