Material Handler

Job Description

The Material Handler is responsible for the storage and dispensing of parts and materials required for the kitting process. This role involves maintaining the stock department in a clean and organized manner, handling routine questions and problems, and maintaining open communication with other departments. Responsibilities include receiving, logging, and storing parts and materials in the Kardex system, completing all documents, forms, and reports in accordance with company policy, retrieving parts from inventory, placing all parts and materials in appropriate areas or delivering parts as needed, and organizing and maintaining the stock room area according to company standards.

Skills

• material handler or warehouse experience - at least 6 months

• ability to work with computers and do some data entry

• attention to detail

• ability to communicate respectfully with co-workers to maintain a healthy teamwork environment

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Work Environment

9 am - 5:30 pm in an air-conditioned work environment. The role involves working with a Kardex system for pulling small parts orders and kitting for assembly. Eligible for overtime.
