The
Accounting Manager
i s responsible for
supervising and leading the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. Provide team leadership in cash management, accounts payable, general ledger analysis, month-end close, reconciliations, ATM proprietary settlement, fixed assets and timely completion of monthly financial reporting. Responsible for development, maintenance and performance of departmental procedures.Promotes accounting service training and cross-training to excel in accounting service performance.Insures responsibility of backup coverage for departmental duties during absences.Instrumental in support of internal and external audit. Takes leadership initiative in project assignments and participates in process improvements focusing on efficiency and process controls.Lead by example in excellent member service to internal and external Purdue Federal members and be a role model of Purdue Federal values.
