$336,568 - $445,112

Description

The Division of Regional Surgery at the University of Rochester seeks to recruit a full-time general surgeon at the assistant and/or associate professor level to join our regional surgical group. Opportunity exists for assisting in the development of regional clinical programs including patient care, teaching, administrative duties and community outreach. Selected individuals will also develop a practice by enhancing community relationships with referring physicians throughout the southern tier region.

Qualifications

Candidates must have completed medical school receiving an MD or equivalent and completed a full surgical training residency program and have passed standardized proficiency testing. Applicants for this position must be board certified or board eligible in General Surgery. Must be eligible for a NYS medical license.

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
