Job Summary

The Product team in Effectv is looking for a Sr. Analyst to help their growing organization deliver scalable and robust enterprise data tools that will build on the company’s mission to be a leader in audience based, addressable advertising solutions. Products tend to be data- and technology-based (e.g., registration, ecommerce, search, directory, email, advertising products) or may also be special features for existing programs (e.g., travel products, entertainment, financial portfolios, up-sell tools, etc.) This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial, data minded, problem-solver with a developing passion for building products and solutions in a cutting- edge media technology organization. The position will report to the Sr. Director, Product Management.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities ​

  • Analyze product management activities for several products, or one key product. Serve as a resource to other product managers, assist them in the resolution of semi-complex problems and/ or take lead on features and requirements for larger projects.

  • Gather input from key stakeholders to define product concepts and requirements. Define and analyze markets and present findings and recommendations.

  • Evaluate technologie s, d evelop detailed product specifications/ requirements , implementation plans and roadmaps .

  • Contribute to cross-functional teams to envision new product features.

  • Coordinate with outside vendors and strategic partners to ensure that product initiatives are well-defined , data sets are aligned to specifications and UAT is completed .

  • Make product improvement recommendations to meet changing operational, sales and market needs.

  • Coordinates among a wide range of cross-functional inte rnal and external partners to ensure that products get to market per specifications and on schedule.

  • Champion data literacy within the organization through the development of data dictionaries, schemas and support of internal data backbone while also bridging knowledge gaps between departments.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • 3-5 years relevant experience

  • Curious, resourceful, communicative and collaborative

  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills; successfully navigate between multiple projects while meeting deadlines

  • Data enthusiast with e xperience in updating complex (SQL) queries to obtain data necessary for product support or analysis

  • Ability to draw insights from data and present analysis and findings both verbally and visually

  • Knowledge of cloud computing technologies, for example, AWS, Azure, etc . preferred

  • Project management competency. Familiarity with Agile methodology a bonus.

  • Strong desire to learn and grow career in product management

Salary:

Pay Range: This job can be performed in New York City with a Pay Range of $91,428.72 - $149,610.63

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
