Clinical Director - Behavioral Health

Natchez Trace Youth Academy is a highly-structured 115-bed cognitive behavioral program serving adolescent males aged 10-17. Our interdisciplinary staff helps residents refocus their thinking patterns in order to improve their actions/behavior. Natchez Trace Youth Academy is seeking a dynamic and talented Clinical Director to oversee the full-range of the clinical needs of our facility. We look for caring, energetic people who take pride in the quality of instruction and dedication in their work. This position oversees all facility therapists and reports directly to the CEO.
SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct psychosocial assessments with patients and review with therapeutic team in accordance with all standards and timelines
Collaborate with Nursing and other appropriate departments in coordinating therapeutic services for optimal quality of care
Coordinate activities to ensure that treatment plan goals and objectives are met
Supervise and maintain accurate, complete and appropriate clinical records and other required information on patients via assigned therapists for each patient
Supervise and maintain communication with referral sources
Supervisor completion of individual plan of care (Master Treatment Plan) setting forth the agency services to be provided each patient, the rational for this service and documentation of the services as it is provided.
Coordinate with Nursing/Medical Department to resolve any conflicts/issues that arise
Provide clinical consultation and reviews of admissions/referrals as necessary
Monitor student movements and prepare written reports of projected discharges on a weekly basis
Be knowledgeble regarding licensing and contractual requirements for all patients served
Review and sign Monthly Progress Reports, IPP's and other required documentation of clinical services provided by therapists.
Complete random chart audits to ensure quality documentation within the Clinical Department
Participate in daily leadership flash meetings and other meetings as required
Facilitiate clinical training for New Employee Orientation and periodically as needed.
Complete periodical evaluations on new employees as part of the UHS Onboarding process and conducts annual performance evaluations on all subordinates

Qualifications
Education:
Master's degree required in a clinical field
Licensure required (LPC, MHSP or LCSW)
Experience:
Preferred qualifications include a minimum of two (2) years of direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting. Supervisory experience preferred.
