Role: Mainframe Technical Lead/Support Engineer Experience: 8+ years of strong experience Job Location: Brookfield, WI Required Skills: In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong working knowledge of Mainframe Utilities, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, Git, ZConnect, IDZ Roles & Responsibilities: * As a Mainframe Developer/support engineer, you will be responsible for analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, and support of existing applications developed on the IBM z/OS Mainframe platform. * Designing, Coding, Testing, Co-ordinating offshore team, * Review the deliverables with customer, IT/UAT/Prod implementation and support * Responsible for architecting API products for Credit card system. * Ensure API products are designed and built to high standards, are easy for developers to implement, and can support the widest possible number of use-cases. * Take responsibility of the software artifacts produced in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. * Adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles and all GIT branching strategies. * Very good experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS and related tools. * ZConnect experience is a plus Work Authorization: Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position will be between \$85,000 - \$105,000/year on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
