Responsibilities You will support the digital transformation of Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements and deliverables through the utilization of Digital Engineering principles. You will provide logistics oversight and Life Cycle Management for technical issues regarding the twelve IPS elements. You will provide leadership, oversight and guidance on logistics management, technical data, logistics support analysis, acquisition logistics, supply support, and software support. You will have input to Program Management in support of managing cost, schedule and product support performance. You will develop logistics acquisition documentation, provides input to other acquisition documentation, and determine the acceptability of contractor prepared logistics deliverables. You will resolve technical or procedural deficiencies based on system readiness and life cycle cost data analysis. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing program requirements; providing support solutions; developing acquisition and logistics documentation; assisting in life cycle cost analysis; material management; obsolescence management; OR reviewing program technical data and readiness data. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. Relocation incentives as described in 5 USC 5743 may be authorized in accordance with applicable regulations. PCS is not authorized.
