Job Summary:TTC has an exciting opportunity for a talented, hands-onQuality Assurance Analyst with a passion for enhancing control methodologies to ensure compliance and quality assurance standards. Candidate will support the US Department of Transportation (DOT), FRA. Candidate should be a self-starter who values their work and the contribution of their team members! Candidate must be clearable for obtaining a public trust clearance and be a US Citizen or Green Card holder and have lived in the US for the past 3 years consecutively.

Description:The Quality Assurance Analyst will be part of a small team that analyzes business and functional documents, identifying project scope with an understanding of technical specifications and the environment set-up for testing. Participates in formal and informal reviews throughout the product development life cycle. Duties require the establishment of processes and procedures to document, track and resolve reported problems and meet operational service level standards. Have the ability to create and modify PDF forms based on incoming requests and have an understanding of applications of government documentation standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Implements and enhances quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures in a large computer-based organization
  • Analyzes business and functional documents, identifying and defining project scope, with understanding of technical specifications and setup test environment
  • Sets clear goals and expectations, manages multiple priorities, facilitates the collection of technical, operational and business requirements, sets milestones and follows through to successful completion
  • Prepares effort estimation and lead all aspects of testing
  • Develops regression test plans and traceability matrices
  • Plans and executes 508 Compliance tests for system applications and user documentation
  • Prepares required documentation
  • Maintains and enhances a process for evaluating software, and associated documentation and/or assists in the evaluation
  • Conducts and/or participates in formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development life cycle
  • Resolves basic application, system, access, performance issues
  • Uses established processes and procedures to document, track, and resolve reported problems and to meet operational service levels and standards
  • Manages all requests through customer ticketing system and mailbox
  • Creates tickets for all requests received through the customer mailbox
  • Assigns resources for work requests
  • Performs daily health checks for customer systems
  • Creates and maintains work items in Azure DevOps
  • Handles work requests specifically for the creation and modification of PDF forms

Requirements/Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree or 10 years' work experience
  • 6+ years general experience
  • 3+ years of experience building PDF forms in Adobe
  • 3+ years of experience in a Help desk support role
  • Experience conducting system acceptance testing. test case, specification and Traceability Matrix (RTM) documentation
  • Proven understanding and applications of government documentation standards
