Job Description:

Interagency Outreach and Response Analyst

GDIT is hiring an Interagency Outreach and Response Analyst to support the ongoing initiatives of a government program. The Analyst will primarily support divisional efforts related to Emergency Preparedness and Response. Secondarily, the Analyst will support the division’s community outreach team through impact analysis and reporting.

Essential duties include:

Primary

  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and/or evaluation and improvement of emergency preparedness and response initiatives.

  • Refine existing emergency preparedness and response training curricula to reflect the needs of served populations, with a particular focus on linguistic and cultural considerations.

  • Support the implementation of emergency preparedness initiatives in collaboration with federal, state, and local partners, including travel to approximately four to six trainings throughout the United States, annually.

Secondary

  • Support division in the design, implementation, and analysis of lived experience and other initiatives.

  • Coordinate with agency colleagues, state/local partners, and community-based organizations in support of national community outreach events, to include two to four domestic travel events annually.

  • Assist in the gathering, analysis, and reporting of division data and assess impact across other agency divisions.

Additional duties may include, but not are not limited to:

  • Monitor progress toward meeting division programmatic objectives.

  • Prepare written reports and recommendations for division leadership.

  • Provide support on a range of analytical tasks to support agency decision making.

  • Develop presentations for various formal and informal settings.

  • Perform administrative duties such as maintaining internal trackers and drafting communications.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree.

  • 5-8 years of related experience.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience working with federal grants preferred.

  • Experience working with immigrant or refugee communities preferred.

The likely salary range for this position is$76,690 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
