Assistant Director, Class Programs & Reunions - Office of Advancement - Georgetown University

Job Overview

The Assistant Director for Class Programs & Reunions manages class engagement and giving strategies for up to five undergraduate alumni classes. They are also be part of the team responsible for strengthening and growing the overall class volunteer program, including the strategies for volunteer recruitment, resources, and stewardship.

Work Interactions and Work Mode Designation

Reporting to the Director, Class Programs and Reunion Campaigns, the Assistant Director is an integral part of the CPRC team. CPRC is, as a whole, responsible for establishing class fundraising goals, recruiting and developing volunteers, identifying donors, hosting world-class signature events (Homecoming Weekend and Reunion Weekend), and engaging alumni and students in class-based fundraising and engagement.

This position has been designated as Hybrid. Please note that work mode designations are regularly reviewed in order to meet the evolving needs of the University. Such review may necessitate a change to a position’s mode of work designation. Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 1-3 years of professional experience, - preferably in a development/fundraising environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Exemplary communication and time management skills

  • Attention to detail

  • An interest in higher education or non-profit philanthropy.

  • Experience working with customers and/or volunteers

  • Ability to handle confidential matters on a regular basis
