Description We are on the lookout for an adept Credit Clerk to join our team in the Savings and Loan banking industry. This role is based in Warwick, Rhode Island, United States. As a Credit Clerk, you will be tasked with processing customer credit applications, maintaining precise customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer credit accounts and taking necessary action to recover overdue payments. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Maintain precise records of customer credit

• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly to identify any discrepancies

• Take necessary action to collect overdue payments from customers

• Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions and data efficiently

• Adhere to data processing protocols to ensure the integrity and security of customer data

• Familiarize oneself with and abide by closing processes in the banking industry

• Uphold compliance standards in all operations relating to customer credit

• Provide outstanding customer service in all interactions with customers. Requirements • Proficiency in CRM systems for efficient customer relationship management

• Experience in Data Processing, ensuring accurate and timely handling of loan-related data

• Familiarity with Closing Processes, ensuring smooth finalization of loan agreements

• Strong understanding of Compliance regulations in the banking sector, particularly in regards to consumer loans

• Experience with Consumer Loans and the ability to effectively process and manage them

• Knowledge of Credit analysis, including assessing creditworthiness of loan applicants

• Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on providing supportive and efficient service to all clients.
