Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will provide vital design engineer support to our Ground Vehicles Power Mobility (GVPM) group. Your role involves 50% designing and 50% engineering changes to existing drawings. You will design enclosures and conduct all necessary tests. Additionally, you will engage directly with customers throughout project execution, lead the mechanical design efforts for component and system level prototype solutions, conduct design review meetings, develop mechanical drawing data packages, and provide leadership support with assembly and integration efforts.

  • Solidworks Flow or CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics)

  • Thermal Simulation

  • Packaging Electronics

  • BMSE

  • 2D Drawing

  • Engineering Changes

  • Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Warren, Michigan and some days remote.

Work Environment

Located at Detroit Arsenal BLD 212, you will collaborate daily with electrical engineers and other mechanical engineers in a desk environment from Tuesday to Thursday, with remote work options available on Monday and Friday.
