Leader Communications Inc. IT Help Desk Technician III in Warren, Michigan

Position Summary

The Help Desk Technician III will ensure all requests and tickets are prioritized, addressed, and resolved within the required timelines.

Individuals must be able to attain and maintain a valid US Government Secret security clearance to be retained in the position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage tickets and requests from users.

  • Ensure required timelines are met for each request/ticket.

  • Provide metrics and status on help desk activities.

  • Provide technical support for the full range of IT tickets and requests from users.

  • Ensure performance requirements are met.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field preferred

  • Minimum five (5) years of related experience

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required

Skill & Certification Requirements

  • CompTIA Security+

  • Help Desk

  • Trouble Ticketing Software

  • Extensive IT help desk/service desk support experience, including support for Microsoft environments and computer, laptop, printer, and mobile device support

Desired Skills:

  • 8570 compliant certification is required to be able to start and must be obtained prior to a hire date.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite.

Work Schedules: Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 5x8 hour day, 2 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $55,000 - $100,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Leader Communications considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
