Director I Sales

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Director I Sales is responsible for directing account management and client service retention activities for California Strategic Account business including both medical and specialty products. This position will oversee a team responsible for servicing California jumbo accounts with 3,000+ employees across the state.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Provides leadership and strategic direction to ensure team members provide best in class and proactive service to clients.

  • Develops strategies and executes sales plans to achieve membership growth and client satisfaction.

  • Develops and trains team members to perform at a highly proactive level.

  • Develops and motivates staff to achieve common goals.

  • Reports to a California RVP.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 8 years of professional/leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Excellent managerial and leadership skills strongly preferred

  • Experience within sales & account management is preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $155,664 to $253,750.

Locations: California, Washington State.
