Title:** Electrical Controls Engineer
Shift: 1^st^ Shift (7pm -- 3:30pm) -- On call weekends
Starting Pay: $55,000 - $76,968/annually
Travel: Up to 25%
Work Location: In-Person
A global manufacturer in Wadsworth, Ohio is currently in need of a full-time Electrical Controls Engineer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, and supervises all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery
- Responsible for the installation and technical support of PLC based hardware and software
- Commissioning of Level 1 systems on-site
- Controls specification and design activities documentation
- Assists with technical clarification with the customer
- Applying and working in compliance with the agreed company control system development guidelines, technical standards, and procedures
- Preparation and execution of proper control system testing e.g. unit testing, functional testing, performance, integration testing to ensure a high quality of company control solutions
- Second level support for control related issues, especially problem analysis and trouble shooting
- Preparation and execution of trainings both internally and at the customer sites
Experience Needed:
- Bachelors in Electrical Controls Engineering 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Strong team work ability and communication skills
- Willingness to learn new things and a high initiative
- Willingness to travel and stay abroad for up to 2 months
