ICONMA, LLC Software Engineer V (Software Engineering Support for Avatar Asset Production Workflows & Tools) in United States
Our Client, an Internet Content & Information company, is looking for Software Engineer V for their Remote location Responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer, play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of Art Castle, an asset platform that facilitates version control, review, and release of 3D assets.
Primary responsibility will be to collaborate with the Art Castle engineering team through the handling of user requests, feature development, technical documentation, and automation of tasks that facilitate critical projects and long-term objectives.
Triage and resolve issues raised by art production vendors.
Carry out feature design and development of the vendor portal.
Facilitate daily scripts jobs that are crucial for safeguarding asset integrity.
Provide support for user feedback groups, addressing user queries related to asset or release operations.
Assist in triaging and redirecting asset, technology and process questions to the appropriate teams.
Coordinate the release content schedule across various asset production teams
Assist in release content management to ensure all intended content and hotfixes are included for a release.
Typical Day in the Role:
Checking support channels to see if there are any questions to be answered, facilitation calls with our Art partners.
Coordinate and be self-organized about bugs to address, feature implementations to be completed
Procedural documentation in Wiki\
Requirements
8+ years of development experience with PHP, C++, Python.
Familiarity with client infrastructure is a huge plus.
Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors from art disciplines.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with Shotgrid, Maya, Blender, or has worked on Technical Art Pipelines will be a plus.
If they ever worked in systems such as Shotgrid, with applications such as Maya, Blender exposure to technical art pipeline
Previous contractor with client (understanding internal infrastructure)
Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
Top 3 must-have HARD skills:
Skilled in PHP, C++, Python (language side)
Excellent written and verbal communication (Will be facing extremely senior graphic artists)
5+ years of web development experience with CRUD type applications
