The Sr. Solution Consultant will use clinical expertise to effectively demonstrate how Spok solutions helps physicians and all clinicians to focus on efficient, high quality and personalized patient care. As a Sr. Solution Consultant, you will make a positive impact on healthcare, how clinicians do their work, add value, and drives patient satisfaction.

The Sr. Solution Consultant will act as a trusted advisor to clinicians to provide guidance and solutions to streamline their use of Spok software, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality and personalized patient care. They will also help shape the future of our software by providing ongoing clinical input to our research and development efforts.

The Sr. Solution Consultant will be responsible for playing a key role in the implementation of the solution adoption that meets the customer workflow requirements and delivers value to our customers. They will lead the activities and work streams related to implementations to ensure value delivery and business benefits meet or exceed client expectations. This role will leverage healthcare industry knowledge, Spok product knowledge, and business analytical skills to define solution implementation requirements and align Spok and the customer resources to deliver on the solution vision. This position requires the delivery and/or coordination of work sessions with the customer that delivers on the solution vision, statement of work and overall project success.

Duties and Responsibilities

Trusted Advisor mind set with the ability to present and communicate with various C-level Executives.

Work with Services Leadership, Project Management and Delivery Teams to deliver overall workflow solution solution/implementation approach to meet customer workflows that add value to the end users and have measurable outcomes.

Be a leader in solution adoption, business, and implementation workflow sessions to:

  • Promote deep adoption of the product solutions

  • Assist the project manager and team in the delivery of project objectives, scope, organization, timelines, overall approach, and measurable outcomes for a successful outcome.

  • Define Workflows and use cases to meet customer requirements and that provide value.

  • Identify current client business processes and document as necessary.

  • Be the change agent that assist our customers in long-term success.

    Provide clinical subject matter expertise and business knowledge to ensure application is configured to meet client requirements and intended business use.

    Direct communication with Product Strategy to ensure future development efforts are in line with customer requirements and use cases.

    Assist sales with client-side activities, marketing, support, and other functional teams with solutions, as needed.

    Facilitate the management of client scope to fit within the project scope and effort.

    Lead issue resolution teams to find solutions to client raised issues as it relates to the solution.

    Perform knowledge transfer to client personnel especially related to Company’s applications and workflow requirements.

    Ensure proper change control and scope of program are aligned to project goals.

    Assist with project planning and management activities, as necessary.

    Participate in project and client meetings, as appropriate.

    Required Education, Skills, and Experience

    Bachelor’s degree (BA)

    5+ years of related experience

    Travel – 25-50% (domestic)

    General call center experience

    Presentation skills and experience

    Critical thinking and value stream mapping familiarity

    Six sigma

    Strong Clinical knowledge a plus

    Must be able to manage time to 80% billable target while efficiently completing project work

    Working experience of Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint

    Working knowledge of Smart Suite – Smart Console, Smart Web, eNotify

    Excellent oral and written communication skills

    Comfortable working at the hip with customers in the field

    Confident presenting findings (core artifacts) from consulting engagement

    Good listener

    Willing to own management of small self-contained consulting projects
