    3rd Shift: 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. Sunday - Thursday 15% Shift Differential paid. HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?:

  • The Inventory Coordinator II under the supervision of the Manager of Inventory Controls, is responsible for supporting the Warehouse team in accurately picking orders, unloading trucks, cycle counting, shipping materials and receiving materials.

    A DAY IN THE LIFE: The Inventory Coordinator II is responsible and accountable for delivering the following:

  • Promote a safe work environment by adhering to safety policies and participating in environmental, health and safety (EH&S) programs. Engaged in the Safety program by working safely and identifying safety concerns and issues.

  • Responsible for knowledge of all warehouse inventory and shipping processes and ensures that all procedures are followed, improved upon as the need arises, and procedures are kept up to date.

  • Perform department activities to achieve organizational goals, shipping accuracy, shipping to schedule and material handling.

  • Accurately perform cycle count activities. Performs analysis and corrects cycle count discrepancies, regularly audits locations to ensure quality and accuracy and document results.

  • Support manufacturing by staging manufacturing materials according to order requirements ensuring delivery of said materials in alignment with the manufacturing schedule.

  • Connect with planning/purchasing to gain awareness of inbound volume and of materials to ship. Process in-house material requests in an expedited fashion.

  • Support Practical Process Improvement (PPI) at the site as applicable to work area and scope of responsibility.

  • Develop and complete continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Able to cross train as assigned. Performs other duties, projects, as assigned.

    EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma/GED.

    EXPERIENCE: Band 2 (Distribution):

  • Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field

  • Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers)

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new software platforms.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of computer applications and current software.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work in a controlled manufacturing environment; is required to lift 25 lbs. may be required to stand for long periods of time while performing duties.

  • Ability to work safely with materials and equipment. Expose to fumes and chemicals such as raw materials, cleaners, etc.

  • Potential for overtime and flexible shifts

  • Emergency overtime may be required with little notice to ensure operational objectives
