Location: Duluth, GA Duration: 6 months Description: Who we are looking for: Client is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Financial Planning Department in providing financial support to the Information Technology and Human Resources functions. The Financial Analyst will play a supporting role, working closely with business leaders to develop financial forecasts, analyze performance, and provide relevant and reliable financial data for decision-making. This position reports to the Global Business Services (GBS) Controller. As a member of the corporate planning team, there will be close liaison with the functional and regional finance teams. What you will do: Support GBS controller with budget and forecast activities including uploading cost center data Monthly operating expense reporting, helping to identify variances from forecasted, budgeted, and benchmarked performance Prepare timely and insightful financial analyses and present findings for review and decision-making Partner with business leaders on development and tracking of project spend Capital Expenditure planning, management, and reporting for assigned business functions Headcount analysis and reporting Look for cost reduction opportunities Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports as needed What you will bring: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting Minimum of 1 year of related finance experience Must have proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills Understanding of financial theories as well as accounting principles and concepts Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Team player and able to develop relationships Effective verbal and written communication skills A plus if you have: Experience within farm machinery or automotive industry Experience with OneStream and SAP
