The purpose of the role:
Due to rapid growth within the business, we are currently looking for a Global Sourcing Manager to join our Global Indirect Category function. The position will be responsible for allocated sourcing & contracting activities across Professional Services and IT on both regional and global levels.
Key Responsibilities
The key focus areas for the Global Sourcing Manager role are:
Responsible for allocated sourcing & contracting activities across Professional Services and IT.
Support the delivery of the Professional Services & IT category strategies, globally as well as regionally.
Business partnering with the key senior stakeholder community, globally and regionally, to align requirements & fulfill these with a view of global standardisation and leveraging global spend volumes as appropriate.
Category scope includes the following sub-categories: Professional Services - Consultancy, Audit, Tax, Legal, Translations and Subscriptions IT including Software Licensing, IT Services, Hardware and Telecommunications.
Build key supply partner relationships & platforms for regular engagement with key business stakeholder community.
What we’re looking for:
Demonstrable experience in a professional procurement role, preferably within a multi-national organisation.
Demonstrable understanding of key suppliers and supply market dynamics of the Professional Services & IT categories (SAAS).
Experienced in working with suppliers globally whilst understanding regional differences which may require different approaches.
Experience of Master Services Agreements in the Professional Services category as well as Statements of Work.
Experience of negotiating and agreeing commercial models for IT and Professional Services agreements that limit commercial risk and ensure successful delivery.
Experience of negotiating SLAs and understanding of how these apply in specific scenarios.
Understanding of how large, global Professional Services & IT firms operate internally as well as externally. If you have gained experience in the utilities or engineering environments that would be a bonus yet is no pre-requisite.
