ICONMA, LLC Digital Design Engineer in United States
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As part of our research and development efforts, you will contribute to both new and existing product designs. If you have a track record of demonstrating designs on hardware and possess expertise in digital HDL design, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and perform engineering research and design development.
Conduct design and HDL analysis, including high-speed and low-power designs.
Participate in simulation, verification, and integration tasks.
Translate algorithmic or functional specifications into implementable designs for lab or field environments.
Develop models, simulate and verify designs, fabricate prototypes, and test hardware solutions.
Maintain accurate and detailed design files.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven hands-on experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on digital HDL design.
Required Skills: Minimum 10 years of experience:
Complex, high-speed HDL-based implementations of algorithms targeting programmable logic devices (PLDs), FPGAs, ASICs, microprocessors, DSP, and/or ARM processors.
Code design, simulation, and testing.
Familiarity with Xilinx Virtex FPGAs and Versal MPSoC.
Proficiency in an exclusive UNIX-based environment.
Knowledge of UNIX-based scripting.
Experience with Xilinx Client and Vivado.
Familiarity with Modelsim/Questa.
Hands-on experience with laboratory test equipment and network test equipment.
Implementation experience with JESD204B and JESD204C interfaces.
Realization of high-performance DSP algorithms.
Troubleshooting designs within an integrated system.
Proficiency in VHDL.
High-speed digital design and lab debugging skills.
Experience with 100Gbe networking protocols.
Proven track record of delivering hardware and signal processing solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a high-functioning design team.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Matlab, Perl, TCL, System C, and System Verilog.
A background in space programs
