Business Development Manager - Pulp and Paper (Nationwide)

About the role:

WEG Electric Corp. has an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager, Pulp and Paper(nationwide) to prospect, develop and close sales opportunities for the Pulp and Paper market at the end user level.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Developing relationships with end users generating sales opportunities, contract negotiation and new business execution;

  • Obtain specification of WEG products on customer Approved Vendor Lists;

  • Develop and manage LV Motors, MV Motors and Automation pipeline opportunities and work closely with other departments to define standard and custom product solutions and services needed to close business;

  • Assist sales team in tracking and closing major deals and develop customer's portfolio.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or in a related field

Knowledge / training:

  • Strong and proven Pulp and Paper technical and commercial market knowledge along with the ability to sell and promote the Company and its products/solutions.

  • Deep knowledge of Low Voltage Motors, VFD, Soft starter and applications are desired.

  • Strong time management, communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate with people at all levels.

  • The role includes the availability to travel up to 75% of working time (nationwide). This person will be working remotely and should be located near a major airport.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of applicable industrial sales experience
