Business Development Manager - Pulp and Paper (Nationwide)

About the role:
WEG Electric Corp. has an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager, Pulp and Paper(nationwide) to prospect, develop and close sales opportunities for the Pulp and Paper market at the end user level.
Primary Responsibilities:
Developing relationships with end users generating sales opportunities, contract negotiation and new business execution;
Obtain specification of WEG products on customer Approved Vendor Lists;
Develop and manage LV Motors, MV Motors and Automation pipeline opportunities and work closely with other departments to define standard and custom product solutions and services needed to close business;
Assist sales team in tracking and closing major deals and develop customer's portfolio.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or in a related field
Knowledge / training:
Strong and proven Pulp and Paper technical and commercial market knowledge along with the ability to sell and promote the Company and its products/solutions.
Deep knowledge of Low Voltage Motors, VFD, Soft starter and applications are desired.
Strong time management, communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate with people at all levels.
The role includes the availability to travel up to 75% of working time (nationwide). This person will be working remotely and should be located near a major airport.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of applicable industrial sales experience
