Red Hat Strategic Key Account Manager - FSI in Singapore

The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Enterprise Account Manager for the Financial Services Industry (FSI) with initiative, passion, and experience to join us in Singapore. In this role, you will design strategic sales plans via competitive analysis, customer segmentation, market development plans, and thoughtful solution positioning for the financial services industry, serving as an enterprise account manager for your assigned accounts. You will develop and maintain relationships within these accounts and work to sell Red Hat's solutions. You will need to have excellent communication skills to establish good relationships with the decision makers of your assigned accounts. You will also need to understand customer issues and demonstrate how Red Hat's solutions can resolve them. In addition, you will need to be able to explain what Red Hat's subscriptions are and how they work, using your outstanding communication skills and passion for open source. You will also need to be able to explain how open source delivers value to customers and how Red Hat makes it work in the environments of our customers.

What you will do:

  • Sell the complete portfolio of Red Hat's solutions to the FSI accounts

  • Develop an understanding of customer business and solution requirements

  • Position Red Hat at all levels of an organization, including C-level executives

  • Plan and carry out account plans and strategy sessions for each key account

  • Manage the complex sales cycle from prospect to close

  • Maintain and develop new relationships within your assigned accounts

  • Work collaboratively with solutions architects, overlay structures, and insides sales representatives

What you will bring:

  • 8+ years of measurable quota carrying experience in a strategic account

  • Background selling to Singapore's key account in FSI vertical; solution selling experience and familiarity with mainstream IT architectures

  • Technical background

  • Demonstrated leadership, partnership, and persuasive skills including consultative strategic selling experience

  • Solid interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills which allow you to interact with confidence and credibility with customers, partners, and vendors at all levels

  • Experience working in fast-moving and constantly changing sales environments within an extremely competitive market

  • Passion and belief in the transformational nature of open source and the ability to effectively translate your passion and beliefs into the day-to-day activities of the sales team

  • Ability to clearly demonstrate executive presence and engage in business level discussions with C-level executives
