Our SEs have specialist and industry knowledge to help our customers build their cloud journeys. In partnership with sales, we collaborate with our customers to inspire them with an innovative solution roadmap to drive outstanding ROI in their businesses.

We are looking for an individual with experience with SaaS Cloud solutions, particularly around the full span of Supply Chain : Supply Chain planning, Procurement, Order Management, PLM and/or Manufacturing functional areas . Also, a candidate who has a natural interest in the newest technology and opportunities within supply chain (i.e. Industry 4.0).

Responsibilities

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Lead the Pre-Sales activities for complex SCM-focused software opportunities (Including running discovery meetings with customer, configure demo software, demonstrate product functionality)

  • Build the relationship with senior customer stakeholders throughout the sales cycle, by leveraging your Business Leadership & Customer Advisory expertise, and be a primary point of contact in partnership with Sales, managing communications with the customer at all levels

  • Ideally, leverage your industry knowledge to design, present and articulate relevant and innovative SCM solutions to customers

  • Represent Oracle as a credible expert, providing current and new product information through workshops and at customer or industry events

  • Drive the strategic growth of ECEMEA Applications through an active contribution to the SE community

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Business experience with relevant application suites – such as Oracle Cloud ERP & SCM or other leading vendors. It can also be experience build from your day-to-day business responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge or background in SCM related topics

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as pre-sales or implementation consultant in SCM projects or in a SCM role

  • Understanding of Oracle’s Cloud strategy and the SaaS marketplace

  • Sales methodology knowledge, including processes and disciplines

  • Ability to apply technology to drive innovation, experience in utilising design thinking and customer journey mapping a plus

  • Bachelors / Master degree or equivalent desirable

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction:

  • Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying Oracle solutions to client business challenges. Facilitation of customer solution understanding through journey mappings, workshops, presentations, and demonstrations throughout the sales cycle.

  • Work with Sales to define and execute a winning strategy for Enterprise Customers

  • Ensure a deep understanding of SCM business processes challenges and transformation (Digital, structural etc..) and share this with ERP Sales community

  • Exhibit a deep knowledge of SCM business processes across one or more industries and Cloud Solutions

  • Networking and communication. Change is built on relationships; you will consistently manage senior stakeholder relationships and have the ability to build these as a trusted adviser within Customers organizations.

  • Innovation and story-telling for the sake of business gain. The ability to think laterally and take the best from other related (and not so related) industries.

  • Subject Matter Expertise: This position requires you to:

  • Be passionate and proficient in digital cloud applications and able to contagiously transmit your enthusiasm to those you interact with.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience of end-to-end Financial and SCM processes and best practices

  • Strong understanding of leading vendors solutions in the ERP market and SaaS Offerings

  • Ability to talk to CFO’s, CPOs, Finance Directors, CIOs, practitioners and experts in customers, consulting companies and partners on a peer-to-peer basis.

  • Ability to travel as needed
