How you will contribute

As a Data and Business Intelligence Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions that enable advanced analytics and reporting for our HR functions. You will collaborate closely with HR stakeholders and IT teams to extract, transform, and analyze data from Workday and other systems, empowering decision-makers with timely and accurate information to drive organizational success.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from Workday and other systems into our data warehouse or BI platform.

  • Clean, transform, and integrate HR data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency for analysis and reporting purposes.

  • Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar, to provide insights into key HR metrics and KPIs.

  • Optimize data infrastructure and architecture to support HR analytics workflows, incorporating best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in HR analytics, data engineering, and business intelligence, and identify opportunities to enhance our analytical capabilities and data-driven decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field;

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in data engineering, business intelligence, or a related field, with a focus on HR analytics and Workday.

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of UX design principles, information architecture, and user-centered design methodologies.

  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL querying.

  • Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
