Oracle Open Source Data Platform Specialist in Denmark

Job Description

What You’ll Do :

  • Guide customers already using or looking to adopt open source technologies by showcasing and directing on best practices.

  • Accelerate customer opportunities with new and existing customers through technical presentations, workshops, solution assistance, or hands-on support.

  • Research and evaluate emerging and upcoming open source technologies to drive continuous improvement and build your knowledge base.

  • Collaborate directly with product management to steer features based on customers’ inputs and requirements.

  • Create compelling assets encompassing external publications and internal documentation, focusing on the open source technologies.

  • Deliver innovation workshops with customers to shape the future of a customer using the latest open source technologies embedded in Oracle Cloud.

Responsibilities

Required Skills/Experience

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of Solution Engineering experience with a Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Ability to engage with Customers and Internal Stakeholders to have strategic conversations around designing and using open source technologies in Oracle Cloud.

  • Experience with cloud technologies (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP, etc)

  • Experience with open source databases, like PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Redis, Valkey, or NoSQL.

  • Experience with building and deploying data processing or streaming pipelines, using technologies like Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, MQTT , etc.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to solve sophisticated technical issues in cloud-based environments, effective communication skills, collaboration across teams, and conveying technical concepts to non-technical key stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to quickly learn new technical domains and innovative mindset.

  • Industry understanding coming from real life working experience with customers.

  • Passion for technology and innovation, including market trends like data lakehouse, and cloud native development, hybrid and multi cloud, data science, AI/ML, vector database, ...

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and time spent outside of comfort zone acquiring new skills.

  • Excellent written, oral and visual communication skills, both with technical stakeholders and with C-Levels.
